Terms of Service

By creating an account, downloading the app, or using nudgee in any form, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

nudgee is a personal organizer that lets you save Instagram posts and reels, automatically extracts summaries / categories / notes from each saved item, and schedules local reminders so you can come back to the content when you have time. The service is provided as-is and may evolve over time.

You create an account by signing in with Google or Apple. You are responsible for safeguarding access to that third-party account — we don't store passwords for it. One person, one account.

You must be at least 13 years old (or the local minimum age, whichever is higher). nudgee is not designed for children.

You agree not to:

• Use the service to break any law (yours or somebody else's).
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or scrape the service for competitive purposes.
• Attempt to access another user's data, abuse our authentication flow, or disrupt the service.
• Use the service to redistribute copyrighted material without permission. nudgee is for your personal use of content you have lawful access to.
• Save content that depicts illegal acts, exploits minors, or violates a platform's own terms (including Instagram's).

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

nudgee saves links to Instagram posts/reels and extracts a small amount of public metadata (caption text, thumbnail, transcription where available) for the purpose of summarizing and categorizing the content for you. We do not republish, redistribute, or claim ownership of any Instagram content. Original creators retain their rights; Instagram retains its rights. If a creator removes their post, the original is no longer accessible from your saved link.

nudgee owns the app, the website, the brand, and the code — we license you a personal, non-transferable right to use the service. You own anything you create inside nudgee (your saves, your notes, your reminders).

The service is provided “as is”and “as available.” We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, that AI-generated summaries are accurate, that reminders will always fire on time on every device configuration, or that all Instagram links will remain accessible. You are responsible for verifying important information before acting on it.

We are not affiliated with Instagram, Meta, OpenAI, Apple, Google, Apify, or Supabase — we use their services but we are an independent app.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, nudgee will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or business arising out of your use of the service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) US$50.

You can terminate your account at any time from Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account. On termination, all your data is permanently removed (see our Privacy Policy for details). We may terminate or suspend your account if you materially breach these Terms.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date and surfaced in-app where appropriate. Continued use of the service after the change means you accept the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or the service will be brought exclusively in the courts of Bengaluru, India, unless local consumer-protection law gives you a non-waivable right to bring it elsewhere.
